Just wanted to ask about finding melodies in songs for solo's? When you write solo's or even play over backing tracks what is you method for finding the melody/notes to use in your solo? Hope that makes sense?

Hey Jordan, could you add tablature in addition to the notation? Many of your examples are applicable to guitar as well but are difficult for those of us without traditional training.
