Definitely helpful! The ones I'm trying to learn are a different note choice, I think it's mainly a fingering issue. I'll see if I can find a snippet of a song you have recorded so I can show you what I mean. Very grateful, trying to get a flow going with the practice. More questions to come!

3-5-3-2-1 on the Eb and then Bb repeat - G minor (im guessing?) so on the 6th and 3rd note of every diatonic scale you can repeat that pattern for some sick shreds. thanks JR! you rule!
